Privacy policy

Short version: this is a set of written pages, not an account system. It asks for nothing and keeps as little as it can.

What is collected

The web server records the ordinary technical data every server records when a page is requested — IP address, time, the page asked for, the browser's user-agent string. These logs are used to keep the site running and to see roughly which pages are read. They are not tied to a name and are discarded on a rolling basis.

Email

If you write to the contact address, your message and address sit in that mailbox for as long as needed to answer you and to keep a record of corrections. No mailing list is built from it.

What is not done

No accounts, no logins, no payment details, no advertising profiles. Nothing collected here is sold, rented or traded, and personal data is not passed to third parties except where the law requires it.

Cookies and analytics

The pages do not set tracking cookies of their own. Fonts are loaded from a third-party font service, which will see the request for those files; if you would rather it did not, browser extensions that block third-party requests will stop it without breaking the text.

Opting out and removal

You can browse without giving anything. To have an email exchange deleted from the mailbox, ask at the contact address and it will be removed. Changes to this policy appear on this page.
